The “Ars Goetia” deck is my personal creative project, dedicated to the symbolic and philosophical interpretation of the archetypes described in the Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis, better known as the Ars Goetia.
It is not a tool of magical practice in the traditional sense, but rather an artistic exploration of the themes of light and shadow, knowledge and mystery, and the hidden depths of the human soul. The creation of this deck was inspired by both ancient and modern sources: the Ars Goetia, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum by Johann Weyer, and Jacques Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, as well as the engravings of Mathers & Crowley (1904), Louis Breton (1863), iconographic manuscripts of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and the works of modern symbolists, surrealists, and contemporary esoteric artists. Each image has been reimagined through a modern artistic lens, without an intent toward literal depiction or cultic interpretation. Here, the ancient spirits become archetypes — symbols of human qualities such as strength, wisdom, fear, desire, intuition, and the inner search for light.
In this deck, the spirits of Goetia are not portrayed as “demons” in the religious sense, but as symbolic expressions of natural and human forces — archetypes that reflect wisdom, intuition, passion, fear, and inner transformation.
In ancient tradition, the word spirit did not signify evil, but rather an energy, idea, or principle behind the visible world. This deck seeks to restore that original meaning — not as embodiments of darkness, but as mirrors of the soul, where light and shadow meet in harmony.
It is a work of understanding, not worship;
of awareness, not submission;
of how art transforms ancient symbols into a language of modern self-discovery.
What’s included in the set:
* 72 Arcane Cards
Each card is an original interpretation of one of the spirits mentioned in the Lemegeton, once bound to the will of King Solomon. These are not mere depictions — they are living sigils, infused with symbolism, astrological correspondences, and the titles of the Spirit. Every image is an altar in itself, a key to intuitive reading and profound contact.
* Guidebook for Working with the Deck
A detailed booklet explaining:
— how to read each card on multiple levels (image, name, element, title, orientation);
— how to ask questions and hear the voice of the Spirit;
— how to create a dialogue with the symbol, rather than submit to dogma.
* Custom Spreads Inspired by the Wisdom of King Solomon
Original divination spreads, designed specifically for this oracle.
Each spread is a form of magical conversation, reflecting archetypes of power, mystery, and the inner kingdom.
* The entire set is housed in a specially designed box — stylized as an ancient copper urn, evoking the legendary vessel in which the spirits were sealed by King Solomon.
It is both a keepsake and a magical object, reflecting the sacred pact between seer and spirit.
Please note this deck is for PRE-ORDER. Production time is about 5-8 weeks.
